- Each submitted work must be an original piece. Where a copyrighted material is to be used, it must be cited clearly at the end of the work.
- For submission that includes photographs, video and audio clips, and slideshows, the materials to be submitted must be taken during the trip between 22nd to 28th May 2011. No other materials from previous or other trips, or from other resources are allowed to be included, unless clearly indicated in the work.
- Each work to be submitted must NOT be longer than 8 minutes long NOR larger than 100 Mb.
- Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 works based on the following criteria:
- Creativity (30%)
- Ability to capture the essence of Vietnam (40%)
- Aesthetics (30%)
- All works to be submitted would be showcased as part of the learning reflections of the trip at a later date.

1. To discover the relationship between cultural influences and the architectural development in South Vietnam

To have a deeper understanding of urban planning issues and the interplay of the matrices of determinants involving physical attributes, commercial feasibility, social fabrics as well as political factors in particular relating to Generation Z (Those born between the early 1990s and the early 2000s).
3. To be aware of the impact of rapid urbanization on the environment and the need for sustainable development in the urban planning process.
4. To gain an insight of Singapore’s strengths in urban planning and sustainable environmental management skill-sets
